Blood Of The Nations

The comeback album by German legendary metal band ACCEPT .I don't think there are many bands out there that could come back with such a great album after all that time away but Accept are one of those rare bands that seem to get better.

"Blood of the Nations" is another one of those albums from a reformed classic metal act that had me approaching with caution in anticipation of the big letdown. That letdown never happened. "Blood of the Nations" is the shot in the arm that fans of traditional heavy metal needed, not to mention that when the smoke clears it may end up one of the best albums of its kind in 2010.(full review)

*my favorite

off-topic - Operation Odyssey Dawn!

The military alliance  gearing up for yet another “humanitarian war”
this time against Libya!

The UK, US and France have attacked Libyan leader Col Muammar Gaddafi's forces in the first action to enforce a UN-mandated no-fly zone.
Pentagon officials say the US and the UK have fired more than 110 missiles, while French planes struck pro-Gaddafi forces attacking rebel-held Benghazi.
Col Gaddafi has vowed retaliation and said he would open arms depots to the people to defend Libya.
Cruise missiles hit air-defence sites in the capital, Tripoli, and Misrata.

Libyan state TV broadcast footage it says showed some of the 150 people wounded in the attacks. It said 48 people had been killed. There was no independent confirmation of the deaths.
Military officials are said to be assessing the damage from the overnight raids before deciding on their next move.

DragonForce Announce New Vocalist

Nearly one year after vocalist ZP Theart parted ways with the band, DragonForce has found themselves a new frontman in Marc Hudson.“I'm really excited about being a part of the DragonForce family,” said Hudson. “It's always been my dream to dedicate my life to making music. I'm going to bring all the power and emotion I can to the songs, and help make the killer new record the fans have been waiting for!”

Born in Oxford England, Hudson was picked from the thousands of applications via a number of impressive video auditions and live performances, which left the rest of the band in no doubt that they’d found their man. Since the age of 16, Hudson has been building his vocal skills, gigging with bands in the UK underground scene, developing a powerful style with influences which include Bruce Dickinson, Michael Kiske and Sebastian Bach.

Said founding member and guitarist Herman Li: “After almost a year of searching around the globe, it’s great to be able to finally tell our fans the good news. Marc’s expressive and melodic vocals are sounding phenomenal on the new songs, adding another dimension to the DragonForce sound that I am sure all the fans will love. Everyone in the band is extremely excited about how the new material is shaping up. “We haven’t felt this kind of energy in the band for a long time. We can’t wait to unleash the next DragonForce album later this year.”

Fireball Ministry

Biography

Conceived in Cincinnati in the late '90s by James A. Rota II and Emily Burton, the band moved to New York City before settling in Los Angeles. After several years appearing with various big name bands in the genre (Danzig, Anthrax, Motörhead, Slayer) but without a breakthrough in sales they have found their own sound and are fast gaining a wider following. The tracks "King" and "Flatline" appeared in the big wave surfing documentary Billabong Odyssey (2003). The track "King" was also selected by Bam Margera and appeared on his Viva La Bands compilation (further reading...)

I found about these guys from soundtrack on Smackdown VS. Raw 2006 "The Broken"

Fireball Ministry aren't an amazing group but they're pretty good for me. And amongst all the retro/stoner rock groups out there these guys are not reliant on funny cliches about drugs or psyhedelic imagery (kind of stuff you hear on so many stupid 'sabbath worship' bands). Also Fireball Ministry are not known for being overly technical or progressive they rely on simple riffs and more melodies not like current trends where bands feel the need to cram as many riffs into one song

I recommend Fireball Ministry for fan of classic late-era Black Sabbath and Motorhead ,you will not be disappointed..

I'm back!

After a very short break, I'm back!
